Mobile Whip Antenna:
Mobile Whip Antenna type TM450B is 0dBd gain antenna for frequency band
403-520 Mhz. The antenna has stainless steel whip as radiator. The
mounting hardware is chrome plated brass. The polyurethane whip holder
is provided to absorb vibrations. O-ring is provided to prevent water
seepage. For best performance, the antenna should be mounted at the center of metal roof of the vehicle.
Alternatively, a bracket is provided with four mounting screws to mount
antenna on side of the vehicle. However, the performance will
deteriorate when antenna is mounted on the side.
